Evolution Launches Red Door Roulette in New Jersey and Delaware

Evolution has announced the US launch of Red Door Roulette, the studio’s uber-popular live game show that combines the action-packed elements of Lightning Roulette with the bonus-filled multipliers of Crazy Time.

The game’s US journey begins in New Jersey and Delaware, with additional states slated for the near future.

A Crossover Format

Red Door Roulette launched globally in 2023. It quickly became a hit in most regulated markets. The game combines elements from Lightning Roulette and Crazy Time. It begins with a randomized slot round. Players can collect up to 15 bonus numbers during this round.

Each bonus number comes with a key. A key might open the Red Door. If it does, the Crazy Time bonus game starts. This bonus includes guaranteed multipliers on a 64-segment wheel.

Multipliers can also appear on the bonus numbers. These may trigger additional multipliers of up to 20x. This boosts the value of each wheel segment.

Such layered, super-charged dynamics with plenty of opportunities to win made Red Door Roulette one of Evolution’s most successful titles in recent years. Having a Red Door in roulette resonates with players, and the US audiences finally get to experience it.

Big Plans for 2025

The US debut of Red Door Roulette marks the beginning of Evolution’s next chapter in delivering innovative and cutting-edge live experiences to audiences worldwide.

Just the first phase of our tremendous live game roadmap for 2025, with a wide variety of new games coming soon to all regulated states.
Jacob Claesson, CEO of Evolution North America

Indeed, the maker of Dream Catcher, Crazy Time, and Lightning Roulette has recently opened its third live game studio in New Jersey, following a financially very successful Q1 of 2025. The studio’s live gaming sector generated north of $500 million, securing a 12.3% year-on-year revenue growth

These are all positive signals, especially considering the negative spotlight on Evolution in recent months. In December 2024, the UKGC, the United Kingdom’s authority on all things gambling, launched a formal review of the Evolution licence, which led to a 10% decline in its stocks. Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) issued a $25,000 fine for the lacklustre surveillance of its live dealer studio.
