Pennsylvania’s regulated gaming market continues its strong upward trajectory, reporting total revenue of $547.1 million in February 2026, marking a 14.6% year-over-year increase.

Figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) highlight the continued dominance of online gaming, alongside steady contributions from retail casinos and sports betting.

Online Casinos Drive Growth

Online casinos (iGaming) remain the primary growth engine in Pennsylvania. The segment generated over $300 million in revenue during February alone, reinforcing the state’s position as one of the largest iGaming markets in the United States.

Online slots accounted for the majority of revenue, followed by table games and poker. The consistent rise in online play reflects a broader shift in player behavior toward digital platforms.

Strong Performance Across All Segments

While iGaming led the way, other verticals also contributed to the overall growth:

  • Retail casinos delivered stable performance
  • Sports betting posted solid year-on-year gains
  • Video gaming terminals (VGTs) and fantasy sports added incremental revenue

This diversified structure continues to strengthen Pennsylvania’s overall gaming ecosystem.

Pennsylvania Remains a Key US Market

Pennsylvania has firmly established itself as a leading regulated gambling market in the US. With mature legislation, a competitive operator landscape, and strong consumer demand, the state continues to set the pace for growth.

The February results further confirm that the US iGaming market is expanding rapidly, with Pennsylvania playing a central role in that growth.
