DraftKings is preparing to roll out a new “super app” that will combine sports betting, online casino gaming, lottery products, and prediction markets into a single, unified platform.
The new app, expected to operate under the DraftKings Sports & Casino umbrella, will allow users to access multiple verticals with one account and one shared wallet. The goal is to create a seamless ecosystem where customers can move effortlessly between sportsbook, online casino, lottery offerings, and event-based prediction markets.
The first phase of the rollout is expected to coincide with March Madness, one of the busiest betting periods of the year in the United States. Further enhancements and integrations are planned throughout the year as the platform evolves.
Expanding beyond traditional betting
A key element of the strategy is deeper cross-product engagement. By centralizing its offerings into a single interface, DraftKings aims to increase customer lifetime value and encourage users to explore multiple gaming categories rather than interacting with them separately.
Earlier this year, the company also introduced DraftKings Predictions, a standalone product that allows users to trade on the outcomes of real-world events. This platform operates under the regulatory oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, reflecting the growing overlap between gaming and financial-style prediction markets.
Long term growth vision
The super app launch aligns with DraftKings’ broader long term strategy presented to investors. The company estimates that the combined addressable market for online sports betting, casino gaming, lottery, and prediction markets could reach tens of billions of dollars annually by 2030.
By integrating these verticals into one cohesive product, DraftKings is positioning itself to compete not only within traditional gambling markets but also in the fast evolving space of regulated prediction trading.
